✦ The alpha waitlist

Privacy

Last updated 27 August 2026

Sohuff is an offline-first EPUB reader. It has not launched yet. This page says what we keep when you join the alpha waitlist, why we keep it, and how to have it removed. The short version: we hold your email so we can tell you when the alpha opens. We do not sell your data. You can leave at any time. Questions go to hello@sohuff.com.

✦ 01

What we keep

  • Your email address, so we can write to you.
  • Your language, and which page you signed up from. The email you get then matches how you found us.
  • Your consent choices: whether you ticked the box for occasional news and offers, plus the time and the exact wording you agreed to.
  • Your IP address, for a short while. We use it to limit how many sign-ups one address can send and to keep abuse out. We never use it to profile you.
✦ 02

Why we keep it

One email is a given: the note that tells you the alpha has opened. That is what you joined the waitlist for.

Anything past that, like occasional product news and offers, is up to you. The checkbox on the sign-up form controls it, and you can change your mind at any time.

✦ 03

Who handles it

  • Cloudflare stores the waitlist in a D1 database and serves this site.
  • Kit (ConvertKit) sends the emails. Kit gets your address for that purpose and nothing else.

That is the full list. Nobody else gets your data.

✦ 04

How long we keep it

We keep your details until Sohuff launches, and for a reasonable stretch after that, so we can finish inviting everyone on the list. If you want out sooner, ask and we will remove you.

✦ 05

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. One click and the news and offers stop.

To leave the waitlist for good, or to ask what we hold about you, write to hello@sohuff.com. We will sort it out.

✦ 06

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is used for the purposes on this page and for nothing else.
