How does spoiler safety actually work?✦
Sohuff tracks the chapter you're on and builds every page, bio, and map from only the chapters behind you. Anything ahead stays hidden and unlocks as you read.
What happens when I'm offline?
Everything except generating new content. Reading, your library, highlights, dictionary, and any wiki or map already generated all work with no connection at all.
What's an activation, and do activations expire?
An activation unlocks the full companion for one book, with no limits inside it: the wiki, maps, recaps, and every character page. Pro is planned to include 8 a month, and unused activations roll over up to 12. A normal-length book is one activation; an unusually long one (over roughly 400,000 words) counts as two, shown before you activate. Reading itself never costs anything.
Which book formats are supported?
EPUB, the open standard used by most publishers and stores. Import your own files on desktop or mobile and they join your offline library.
Can Sohuff help me learn a language?
Yes. Read books in their original language and Sohuff generates recaps, character pages, and story maps in the language you choose. First-source immersion, without losing the plot.
Which language pairs will be supported?
The alpha launches with a small set of quality-verified pairs among the languages on this page, and new pairs are added as each one meets the same bar. Story-level scaffolding has to be trustworthy before it's useful, so breadth follows quality.

Do I need an account?
No. Sohuff works fully signed out. An account adds optional cloud sync so your books, progress, and story worlds follow you across devices.
